Kahlan Young: Owner, Producer, Engineer, songwriter, session musician

Born and raised in Bendigo, Kahlan has been recording and playing music since an early age. His interest in recording started at age 15 with a Zoom multi-track recorder, later developing his skills and furthering education at TAFE with a Cert 2 and 3 in live sound, mixing and recording. Kahlan is a multi-instrumentalist, starting his journey with bass and electric guitar, and later developing drums and piano skills.
He has a passion to work with local musicians, and champion the next generation of songwriters.

Union Records was established in 2024 after a renovation of the current space. It is well sound-treated, and offers a peaceful and relaxed space for recording anywhere from vocals to drums.
